I believe the best approach to client care involves a thorough and sound understanding of both psychological and neuropsychological factors that contribute to individual health. Dr. Labao has extensive experience in psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments, including training at academic medical centres, private practices, school boards, and college counselling centres. His background in brain-based behaviour, knowledge and application of various neuropsychological/ cognitive theories, and dedication to client-centered assessment ensures comprehensive testing of clients’ needs. Gorana is a registered social worker and psychotherapist, who has been in the field of mental health since 2013. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Windsor. Vanessa holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Ottawa. She is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Vanessa is particularly interested in humanistic therapies and uses an integrative framework, often using DBT, ACT, and emotion-focused therapy, to best support her client’s needs and objectives.

Vanessa provides a non-judgemental and empathetic space to create warm and compassionate therapeutic relationships. Irina has extensive clinical experience supporting individuals dealing with mild to severe mental health challenges (depression, anxiety, OCD, perinatal mood disorders, etc); trauma; grief/loss; Intimate Partner Violence; relationship challenges (including high conflict separation) as well as stress, anger management and emotional regulation. She works with teenagers age 15+, adults and seniors.

Irina works from a collaborative, strength based, integrative approach that is trauma informed and influenced by Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and neuroscience.
